The Grassington Dickensian Festival
Taking place in the village of Grassington usually over a series of Saturdays in the run up to Christmas, the Grassington Dickensian Festival is a popular event which celebrates the season in a Victorian style as exemplified by Charles Dickens and in particular his novel "A Christmas Carol".
There's usually lots going on at the festival, with Victorian reenactors, brass bands, Christmas carollers and a visit from Santa Claus all adding to the seasonal atmosphere.
