Great Whernside

Great Whernside dominates the eastern skyline above Kettlewell, straddling Upper Wharfedale and the head of Upper Nidderdale to the west and to the east, respectively.

Although not quite as high as Whernside (one of Yorkshire's Three Peaks to the east), Great Whernside is (as one would expect) higher than its neighbour, Little Whernside, which lies immediately adjacent.
