The Harrogate Convention Centre
Formerly known as the Harrogate International Centre, the Harrogate Convention Centre is a popular conference and events venue in Harrogate.
The Eurovision Song Contest was held here shortly after the centre's opening in 1982 following Bucks Fizz's win for the UK in Dublin the previous year.
Since then the Harrogate Convention Centre has paid host to party political conferences, business gatherings, concerts and music events.
In 2020 the centre was temporarily converted in to one of the UK's Nightingale Hospitals, specifically set up to provide "overspill" care for NHS patients suffering from infection during the global COVID19 coronavirus pandemic of that year.
