Skipton Castle

The seat of the Clifford family and restored by Lady Ann Clifford after the English Civil War, Skipton Castle is situated on the banks of the Eller Beck adjacent to the parish church at the head of the marketplace in Skipton.

Adjacent to Skipton Castle are Skipton Castle woods (pictured above right).
