Sulber Nick

Sulber Nick is a footpath which follows the line of a (relatively minor) geological fault which runs from above Horton in Ribblesdale to an area of moorland which is known as "Sulber".

Along the route are a series of dolines (known locally as "shakeholes") and potholes where surface water drains in to cave systems such as Sulber Pot, Nick Pot and Hangman's Hole.

At the top of Sulber Nick the path splits with one branch carrying on towards Ingleborough and the other leading on to Sulber Gate and down in to Thieves Moss
