Clapdale

Cat Hole Syke is a small stream which feeds in to Clapham Beck just above Clapham Lake in Clapdale
The channel of the stream cuts through Ordvician rocks, exposed at the surface by the North Craven Fault.
The stream itself emanates from Cat Hole, a resurgence cave at the head of the syke. >
