Dow Cave
The entrance to Dow Cave is situated in a ravine off the side of Park Gill near Kettlewell
The cave connects with Providence Pot on the flanks of Great Whernside via a long route which is known to cavers as the Dowbergill Passage.
Dow Cave was visited and sketched by Turner, who had an interest in caves in the area.
