Fleet Moss
Fleet Moss is an area of bleak moorland which is traversed by the high mountain pass which crosses over the flank of Dodd Fell between Langstrothdale and Sleddale.
On a clear day there are views towards Ingleborough to the west (which can be seen in the distance in the above picture) and Semerwater to the north east.
This is a wild place, with nothing in the way of human habitation and only the call of the curlew as consolation.
