Langcliffe Scar

Langcliffe Scar is a limestone cliff overlooking the village of Langcliffe in Ribblesdale.
Although originally a natural feature so typical of the limestone country of the Yorkshire Dales. the face of Langcliffe Scar has been modified by quarrying, and the now defunct Craven Lime Works (now a heritage conservation area) with its famous Hoffman Kiln is situated just beneath.
