With numerous rivers and lakes the Yorkshire Dales area provides some good opportunities for paddle boarding.

Spots used for the activity include Semerwater (pictured above) an isolated lake near the head of Raydale. Paddle boarding (along with other open water sports) obviously has its dangers so locations should be chosen with care.
