White Scars

White Scars is a broad limestone plateau and limestone pavement below the north western flanks of Ingleborough near Ingleton in the "Three Peaks" area of the Yorkshire Dales.

Beneath the plateau are the famous White Scar Caves, and adjacent to the east is the Southerscales area (a continuation of the plateau with more fine examples of limestone pavement).
