The Cathdral of the Dales

At least three parish churches are popularly known as being the "Cathedral of the Dales".

These are St. Michael's church in Kirkby Malham, St. Michael's church in Kirkby Stephen and St. Stephen's church at Grinton in Swaledale.

The title is a somewhat arbitrarily assigned one, and no doubt there will be other churches in the Yorkshire Dales area which lay claim to being a "Cathedral of the Dales"!
