Chapel-le-Dale

Near to Bowes the River Greta passes under the limestone bedrock and through a short cave only to remerge again nearby.
Called "God's Bridge" this natural feature is made use of by man, with a path passing over the water.
By way of coincidence there is also a similar "God's Bridge" near Chapel le Dale which also passes over another "River Greta"!
