Leyburn
The market town of Leyburn is situated beneath the distinctive crest of Penhill in lower Wensleydale.
The Wensleydale Railway passes by, and the town is also a focal point for the Wensleydale 1940s Weekend.
Leyburn also provides the backdrop for the Wensleydale Show (which is usually held on the show fields just outside the town in August).
