Popular locations for rock climbing include Malham Cove and Gordale Scar near Malham, Kilnsey Crag in Upper Wharfedale, Brimham Rocks near Pateley Bridge in Nidderdale, the Cow and Calf on Ilkley Moor and Almscliffe Crag near Otley in Lower Wharfedale.
